This full-time, office-based position is located at their Head Office based in Blackburn. They seek an adaptable, resilient, and reliable individual with a passion for HR and people. This role is ideal for a newly qualified HR Advisor looking for a challenging and dynamic environment to develop their skills and advance their career in Human Resources.
About the role
* Location: Blackburn
* Contract: 12 months fixed term
* Hours: Monday - Friday, fully office based
* Salary: £29,500 per annum
* Benefits: 30 days including BH (you can use them when you like), free parking, company discounts, onsite cafe plus more
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising and supporting on employee relations issues, including absence management, performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievances for managers at all levels.
* Assisting with formal disciplinary matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
* Participating in TUPE and redundancy matters, providing expert guidance to the business and employees.
* Using HR data to inform strategic decision-making.
* Ensuring compliance with current employment laws.
* Working to enhance the efficiency of the HR function and processes.
* Updating policies and procedures in collaboration with HR Business Partners and the Head of HR.
* Handling ad-hoc HR projects and other duties as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
* CIPD qualified with a desire to advance.
* Minimum of 12 months HR experience.
* Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
* Proficiency in IT applications such as Microsoft Office Suite.
* Proven experience in employee relations with strong case management skills.
* Experience on SAP is beneficial but not essential.
