PA to Sales Team


Marcilly Recruitment’s client, an independent property firm in West / South West London zone 2, are seeking a PA to support their busy sales team. The role will be supporting 7-8 people in various capacities depending on seniority. They are a friendly, warm and humorous bunch who all get on well. They definitely want someone who will be a good fit for the team as they are an office of 12+ who all work closely together in a collaborative environment.

It is a buzzy, open plan office with everyone sat together. The role can be very fast-paced, so lots of things can come at you at once, which means they need someone who is calm under pressure and good at prioritising. There can also be down times, so they need someone proactive because there are always things to do and little office projects to get on with. They are seeking someone who is down to earth and happy mucking in as it is a non-hierarchical environment with everyone helping out.

There is definitely room to grow within the firm long-term, whether that be progressing more on the ops side or on the property side. They are a strong performing firm who always pay a Christmas bonus, this will be discretionary depending on work performance and company.

They are seeking a candidate who has worked in a sales team before on the admin side. The successful Sales Team Assistant does not need to have worked in property before, but it would be highly advantageous.

Salary: £28K - £40K depending on experience
Benefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays + closed between Christmas and NY so an extra 3-4 days then; discretionary bonus and pension
Location: West / SW London zone 2 – office based five days a week
Hours: 09:00 – 18:00
Start date: they have a temp in so happy to wait for the right person

The company actively work with local charities so there will be the opportunity to get involved in this area, and it will also involve helping out at events occasionally.

  • Organisational support to the sales team
  • Day to day administrative support and co-ordination of the sales team
  • Maintain the sales database
  • Manage the sales team diary
  • Prepare and co-ordinate the advertising and marketing as and when required
  • Meet and register clients
  • Prepare documentation for applicants and vendors
  • Filing, photocopying and general administrative duties
  • Answer the telephones
  • To actively work towards the selling of their clients’ properties.
  • Compliance and Anti Money Laundering checks on all clients (training to be given)
  • To attend relevant training courses
  • Marketing and social media support
