About the role: We have a new opportunity for an experienced Revenue Manager to join our team.

The Revenue Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing the hotels revenue streams to achieve optimal occupancy, while meeting and exceeding hotel profit objectives. They are responsible for developing a pricing and distribution strategy, in accordance with the hotels recommendations and should have a total revenue management approach, with consideration for all the revenue streams of the property.

ROLE

GENERAL DUTIES Develop, lead and communicate the hotels Commercial Strategy in conjunction with the Commercial Director - Sales and Marketing Oversee the day-to-day management of the Reservations team supervising the Reservations Manager. Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the commercial analysis and evaluations of decisions within all revenue streams. Ensure seamless, timeline reporting of information that supports and enhances the hotels financial reporting such as forecasting, budgeting and market trends. Ensure the hotel achieves budgeted rooms Revenue, and assist in driving F&B and C&E Revenue targets

ROLE SPECIFIC DUTIES Driving incremental revenue and profit for the hotel using a rational, disciplined decision-making process while managing risk under current and anticipated market conditions. Maximizing room revenue contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory, content, and rates therein. Continual analysis of changing channel distribution models and the impact on consumers booking trends. Optimizing hotel and corporate pricing strategies through definition and management of all rates, rate levels, LOS restrictions and other tactics to reflect demand and other market conditions. Effectively managing rates through all distribution channels. Working with the Commercial Director and the Marketing & Communications team to determine effective and engaging rate offers and packages and ensuring that these offers target the right customer through the right channels. Monitoring transient and group booking pace to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservation distribution channels. Agree and implement changes accordingly. Completing all rooms revenue forecasts in a timely manner to accurately project demand. Assist and advise on the F&B and C&E revenue forecasts. Fully utilizing the Revenue Optimization Cycle of IDeaS system and ensuring that the appropriate overrides are in place, special events are accurately loaded, and the forecast validation is maintained. Working with the Commercial Director and Sales Team members to encourage strategic selection of the right pieces of business. Tracking and analysis of competitive set pricing and yield strategies, gaining the ability to predict the comp set reaction to changes in the marketplace. Monitoring the market, market conditions, new entrants and other data and information that may influence the hotel performance. Playing a pivotal role in the Strategic Planning, Marketing Plan, and budgeting processes. Chairing and preparing materials for the fortnightly Revenue Strategy Meetings Providing leadership, motivation and support to the Reservations Team. Ensuring all Reservation Agents and Sales Managers are aware of all rates, promotions and corporate programs at all times. Supporting Reservations Manager with coaching staff and problem solving to exceed guest expectations. Ensuring the Reservations Department consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations. Any other responsibilities as required.

Demonstrable Revenue experience in the London luxury market 2.

Demonstrable leadership skills b having performed the role within Revenue management. 3.

Understands sophisticated RM concepts 4.

Superb product knowledge of IDeaS G2 5.

Advanced MS Excel knowledge 6.

Advance knowledge of hotels distribution systems and in-house systems (PMS) 7.

Precise analytical skills 8.

Excellent presentation skills

Desirable: 1.

Previous hotel experience in a combination of sales and operations. 2.

Experience of using Synxis CRS 3.

Strong understanding of eCommerce 4.

Proficiency in Google Analytics GA4 and how to identify trends and adapt 5.

Comprehension of F&B revenues, how to forecast and drive TrevPar for the hotel
