TheRevenue Manager is instrumental in safeguarding and improving themulti-million dollar revenue stream from global journal subscriptionsfor Sage. You will be central to ensuring the continuity and growth ofthis critical revenue line through strategic management andoperational excellence. The primary purpose of the role is to lead allaspects of the entire renewal process, ensuring it operates smoothlyand efficiently, thereby securing the Sage’s financial health andsustainability.

Your new role:

  • Strategically Drive Revenue Growth: Develop andimplement comprehensive strategies that boost subscription renewalrates, optimize pricing models, and expand market reach.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Cultivate collaboration acrossSales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance departments to meetand exceed revenue targets.
  • Innovate CustomerRetention: Craft innovative retention strategies, analyzesubscription churn, and improve customer engagement to minimizelosses.
  • Improve Customer Experience: Refine thesubscription renewal processes and customer service operations toboost loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Boost OperationalEfficiency: Identify and rectify process inefficiencies,implement improvements, and streamline both the renewal and cashcollection processes.
  • Analyse and Report: Monitor key results on subscription renewals, provide actionableinsights, and make recommendations to propel strategic decisions.
  • Target Marketing Efforts: Segment customerbases, map their journeys, and develop targeted renewal strategiesthrough tailored marketing initiatives.
  • IncreaseUpsell Opportunities: Collaborate with Sales to pinpoint andcapitalize on upselling opportunities using evidence-based strategies.
  • Conduct Market Research:  Perform competitoranalyses and market research, present findings to senior partners toguide informed decision-making.

  • Experienced Revenue Manager: Proven record in revenuemanagement or subscription services, with a history of surpassingrevenue targets.

  • Data-DrivenDecision Maker: Proficiency in using analytics and customerservice metrics for informed decision making.
