Our client has recently made some exciting acquisitions and are evolving. They are looking for a person that wants to join their senior leadership team that wants to make a major impact and help a business change for the better, rather than just being a number

The Role

As the Head of Marketing you will be vital part of the senior leadership team. You will own the marketing strategy and equity in the UK; you will be responsible for setting the local vision, in line with UK portfolio strategy and cascade to all functions and teams effectively. As the Head of Marketing you will be expected to understand key trends within private label & branded food category and with that insight be able to ensure our client are seen as a leader within their category. This is a key role in the organisation, leadership capabilities are a MUST as you will have a team of direct reports to lead and coach

The ideal fit

  • Operated successfully at Head of or Senior Marketing Manager level ideally within food.
  • Have experience in private label food
  • B2B experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure
  • MUST be high energy
  • Experience of leading high performing teams – You must be an inspirational leader
  • Preferably be degree educated or equivalent
  • Solution seeker
  • Show strong commercial understanding and commitment to driving a business forward and a real passion to own it
  • Strategic thinking and ability to shape a vision, create an annual plan and engage a wide network of stakeholders to deliver your plan in key customers
