Role: Channel/Wholesale Manager UK/Europe
Location: UK based - remote working
Company: An established global provider of managed connectivity, cloud communications and Managed Security.
- Minimum 3 years of success in B2B telecommunications sales, ideally in Carrier/Wholesale/Channel environments.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas and achieving sales objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of core telecom products, with a focus on [mention relevant US-based services, e.g., Internet, Layer 2 services]. Bonus points for familiarity with SDWAN, Ethernet, MPLS, IP Telephony, and collocation.
Skills:
- Consultative selling and closing expertise, with a history of developing new accounts.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to connect with high-level decision-makers.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Active listening skills to understand customer needs.
- Solid understanding of telecoms ordering, provisioning, and billing processes.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions for effective customer retention.
Sales Methodology:
- Experience applying systems selling and consultative sales techniques.
- Proven ability to develop comprehensive account plans, including profiling, positioning strategies, needs analysis, opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long-term account management.
