As we expand our global reach, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced UK based Channel Sales and Partnerships Director to build and manage our international channel partner network.
Job DescriptionAs the Channel Sales and Partnerships Director at Goldilock, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and revenue streams by developing and nurturing strategic partnerships in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, and Asia-Pacific regions. This position requires a self-starter with extensive experience in identifying and onboarding top-tier channel partners, along with the ability to work independently in the initial stages and build a high-performing sales organization.
Responsibilities:- Channel Partner Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel partner strategy to establish and grow a best-in-class international channel partner network.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify the most suitable partners in each geography, considering market trends, competition, and potential opportunities.
- Partner Identification : Seek out and evaluate potential channel partners, ensuring they align with Goldilock values and business objectives.
- Partner Onboarding : Lead the onboarding process for new partners, including contract negotiations, partner training, and relationship building to ensure alignment with our goals.
- Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver effective sales enablement programs, tools, and resources to support partners in selling our hardware solutions.
- Performance Tracking: Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance of channel partners and the overall success of the channel sales program.
- Budget Management: Manage a limited budget efficiently, allocating resources to initiatives that yield the highest ROI.
- Team Building: Assemble and lead a high-performing sales organization to support channel partner initiatives, including hiring and training.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination with channel partners.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all partnerships and activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, and provide regular reports to senior management on partner program performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in channel sales and partnerships in the Information Technology industry, with a strong track record of building successful partner networks.
- In-depth knowledge of the IT hardware industry, including trends, products, and competition.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a start-up environment with limited initial resources.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing and developing sales teams.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
- A strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
- Multilingual proficiency, particularly in languages relevant to target regions, is a plus.
