As we expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wholesale Sales Director to lead our wholesale operations and drive our brand’s growth in new and existing markets.

Position Summary

The Wholesale Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the wholesale sales strategy, managing key accounts, and leading the wholesale sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in wholesale sales within the fashion industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the wholesale sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the wholesale sales team to achieve individual and team goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with key wholesale accounts. Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues that arise.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities in domestic and international markets. Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets. Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Product Launches: Coordinate with the product development and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and seasonal line presentations.
  • Trade Shows and Events: Represent the brand at trade shows, fashion events, and meetings with buyers. Coordinate the planning and execution of these events.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, market analysis, and sales performance metrics to the senior management team.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in wholesale sales within the fashion industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and deliver results.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and partners.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of market trends, industry standards, and competitive landscape.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, Google Suite of tools, and other relevant sales tools.
