The Role:
This firm seeks an experienced and dynamic managing consultant to lead its consulting services in the energy and chemicals sectors. This role involves driving the full sales cycle, and leading your own project delivery team while managing and nurturing relationships with senior executives across the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the generation of consultancy services sales, with a primary focus on the EMEA region.
- Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with senior industry managers, executives, and key decision-makers.
- Manage and deliver consulting projects, leading teams of junior and mid-level consultants to achieve high-quality results.
- Develop and present proposals for a range of services, including feasibility studies, due diligence engagements, and technology assessments.
- Collaborate with senior management to shape and grow the company’s presence and revenue in the region.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in the energy or chemicals industry with a top-tier consultancy.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, profitability drivers, and growth opportunities in these sectors.
- Strong appreciation of technological advancements, including emerging sustainable fuel solutions.
- Experience or interest in environmental due diligence and the application of the Equator Principles.
- Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
- Proven ability to generate significant consulting revenue.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and client relationship management skills.
