About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team at H International Consultant / HIa Legal. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for our hotel refurbishment and repositioning project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Leadership: Lead and develop the procurement team, ensuring effective communication and coordination between different procurement functions.
- Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize the supply chain, drive cost savings, and improve supplier performance.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with procurement policies, strategies, and processes, and manage the quality of the end-to-end procurement process.
- Supplier Management: Partner with service providers to facilitate supplier relationship management and governance, conduct supplier quality audits, and manage supplier performance.
- Project Management: Implement global and regional projects across various categories and functions.
- Financial Management: Manage procurement budgets, track financial performance, and ensure the accuracy of financial records at the cluster level.
- Productivity Projects: Drive productivity projects, such as quality value engineering and supplier re-balancing, and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
- Risk Management: Evaluate potential procurement risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- System Utilization: Fully utilize the MBT system function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance during the procurement process.
- Data Management: Maintain the procurement and supplier data or record in MBT system in good manner.
- Quotation and Tendering: Obtain the comparative and competitive quotation for price comparison, upload to MBT for record.
- Sealed Bidding: Conduct the sealed bidding for market list items regularly.
- Tendering Process: Conduct the tendering process, cost evaluation, recommendation, ordering and contract for huge amount or high consumption goods and services.
Requirements:
- Strong Organization and Administrative Skills: Strong organization and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Procurement Experience: 5+ years' experience in purchasing/relevant administrative role, ideally in high-end hospitality group.
- Knowledge of Furniture and Architectural Materials: A solid knowledge of furniture and architectural materials and where to source them from is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with suppliers, and contractors.
- Flexibility: Flexible attitude and willingness to assist when needed.
