Change Communications Manager - 6-Month Contract, £650/day (Inside IR35) - Legal Sector

Location: London (Hybrid)

I am seeking an experienced Change Communications Manager for a 6-month contract with our client, a leading global law firm. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver change and communication strategies for a major IT transformation program, impacting over 7,000 employees globally. The position offers a day rate of £650 , with hybrid working options, allowing up to 40% remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Change Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the change communication strategy for a wide-reaching IT transformation. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that stakeholders across the organisation are informed, engaged, and ready for the changes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a detailed change communication strategy for key projects including network modernisation, Active Directory consolidation, and a Windows 11 upgrade.
  • Performing Change Impact Assessments, identifying stakeholder groups, and producing communication strategies to meet their needs.
  • Building a Change Community across the organisation to drive engagement and manage resistance.
  • Collaborating with IT Learning to align communications with user training and support.
  • Creating communication materials, such as emails, briefing documents, and video content.
  • Ensuring business readiness by identifying and implementing strategies to overcome user resistance.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will have a solid track record in leading change communications for global IT transformation projects. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Change Management and Communications roles, with at least 3-5 years as a Change & Communications Manager.
  • Experience delivering change in large-scale IT transformation projects, particularly involving M365, Windows 11, and Intune.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A recognised Change Management certification.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
