The Role

You will act as a Customer Service Administrator as part of a team of 7.

Duties will include (but not exhaustive):

§ Responding to queries via email, post and telephone.

§ Completing Anti-Money laundering checks as part of all customer due diligence, internal and external fraud controls.

§ Reception Duties, including welcoming guests, accepting post/packages and making drinks.

§ Office administration, including scanning documents.

About You:

§ Motivated

§ Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

§ Financial Services Experience (desired)

§ Professional attitude and appearance (working reception duties)

§ Computer literate; Excel, Word and Outlook

§ Highly organised with efficient time management and the ability to prioritise workload

The successful candidate is expected to study for relevant industry qualifications to increase their knowledge, as well as on the job skills through mastering and understanding all team tasks.

The Company

We are a financial services business, specifically an investment manager and an Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) to several ranges of regulated retail funds totalling over £9Bn. The funds managed include multi-manager, direct equity, mixed investments, derivatives and property.

An ACD is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to establish and manage Collective Investment Schemes (Funds).

The responsibilities of an ACD include maintaining a register of investors, including the settlement of client money, arranging safe custody and valuing the assets held by funds in order to create buying and selling prices of the funds. Margetts focusses on retail investors and also provides fund management to several ranges of Multi Manager funds.

We currently employ 70+ members of staff across multiple departments.
