Purpose

To provide high quality, efficient and effective administrative support for students with responsibility for a wide range of administration & customer service duties, sharing responsibility for efficient and seamless delivery of student services across Faculties. This will involve administration of a portfolio of courses and modules (postgraduate and undergraduate), maintaining student records and providing services and support to students and colleagues across the student lifecycle from clearing to completion.

The key responsibilities will include.
- Queue management
- Taking photos of students for their ID card
- Printing ID cards for students
- Helping with student query signposting
- Reviewing stock levels and reporting to line manager
- Secure items in secure area prior to leaving each day
- Envelope stuffing and collation
- Posting ID cards
- In charge of postal deliveries to post room
- Helping students with enrolment
- Outbound calls to students to help with enrolment.
- Taking inbound calls from students
- General administrative tasks

Skills/ experience required
- Computer literate
- Customer service skills
- Office administrative experience
- Education to first degree level is desirable.
- A high level of literacy and numeracy
- Experience of a student-facing role in higher or further education is desirable.
- Experience of maintaining student or other complex records accurately.
- Experience of working successfully as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly
