Head of the Project Management Office (PMO) and Strategy Hub
Do you have strong experience in a project management role or environment ? The Head of the Project Management Office (PMO) provides effective, organisation-wide project, programme and portfolio management capabilities, from delivery support through to oversight, scrutiny and challenge, to support the delivery of the organisation’s strategy though realisation of aligned change portfolio(s). Working as a member of the Senior Leadership the role will drive effective decision-making, accountability and oversight across the portfolio of projects/programmes, along with embedding robust standards and developing and maturing the portfolio through performance management and continuous improvement.
 As Head of the Project Management Office you can expect to be involved in the the following : 
Work with senior executives to create and maintain the portfolio(s) of change and appropriate governance framework and controls required to deliver the strategy, in line with BAU processes and activities.
Develop organisation wide vision, strategy and overall design of the Project and Programme Management provision in the organisation to ensure consistency, effectiveness and good governance.
Implement Project and Programme Management vision and strategy in alignment with strategic goals and objectives, including integration with the organisation planning and budgeting processes to ensure effective business strategy delivery.
Provide strategic oversight, governance and insight of initiatives, risks, deliverables, and compliance; Build and maintain organisation project delivery capability and capacity to match current and future needs.
  Substantial experience in a Project Management role or environment 
Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE 2, APM) OR substantial project management experience in a similar role
Knowledge and experience of successfully applying programme and project management tools and methodologies, and an ability to deploy and customise procedures for individual projects
