Applications are invited for 4 exciting 16 months fixed term Project Manager roles, supporting our "Kent 2030" strategic project for 35 hours per week (1 FTE). In this role, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects and associated activities ensuring their successful and timely delivery against project objectives.
You will play a key role in the shaping of projects – including agreeing scope, oversight, ownership and roles; Effectively managing all aspects of project from inception to delivery, developing integrated project plans ensuring a consistent approach in line with University procedures and guidelines
Establishing and maintaining appropriate project level governance through the application of project control methods and tools
Acting as a point of contact for assigned projects, providing specialist advice and proactively facilitating the resolution of project level issues and risks
Monitoring and managing the project budget to ensure financial viability
Significant experience in the successful oversight and hands-on delivery of projects from initiation to completion
Experience of key project delivery activities such as risk management, stakeholder management, planning, budget management, change management, etc
Proven ability to write complex project documentation including terms of references, project briefs, financial reports, business cases and update reports
