Gilbert Meher are working closely with a care and education company who are in search of an experienced Operations Directors of Education to join the Senior Leadership Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader, with a passion for Specialist Education and proven experience in educational operations.
The role:
As Operational Director of Education, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous improvement of operational processes across multiple specialist education settings. Your focus will be to ensure each provision within the network is operating efficiently, as well as meeting all compliance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Working closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement organisational strategies that align with the organisations vision and goals.
- School Operations: Oversee day-to-day operational functions - Including facilities management, health and safety, safeguarding, and resource allocation.
- Compliance and regulation: Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, Safeguarding policies and SEN regulations.
- Budget Management: Financial planning, budgeting and cost control across all provisions.
- Team leadership: Lead and manage the team, providing guidance, support and CPD training.
- Continuous improvement: Identify and implement improvements to operations, systems and policies to enhance the overall quality of the provisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in a Senior Operational Leadership role within the Education/ Children's services sector
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social care/Children and young people (or equivalent)
- Qualified Teacher Status
- In-depth understanding of OFSTED regulations, safeguarding and SEN frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams - With excellent communication and interpersonal skills
