About the role

Our HR Team is expanding, and we are looking for a Senior HR Coordinator to join us Reporting into the Senior HR Advisor, you will support with the delivery of efficient, knowledgeable, and reliable HR services to our Head Office and Food To Go business.

In this role, you will collaborate with our corporate and retail leadership teams from a people perspective, helpingthe business to create a positive people culture and to support the delivery of an efficient service to the business.

This is a key role within the team, offering front line support to our colleagues and store managers to ensure our systems and records are accurate and up to date. You will work alongside the HR Advisors to utilise HR data, reports and evidence to influence decision making and to identify key areas for improvement. You will also work with the HR Advisors to provide well-informed and accurate HR advice and guidance with employee relations, HR processes, policies and procedures.

This is a full-time, office-based role at our Waterside Head Office in Blackburn. We are looking to attract an adaptable, resilient, and reliant individual who is passionate about HR & people. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced HR Coordinator looking for their next step in a dynamic and demanding role where you can enhance your skillset and excel in your career in Human Resources.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the HR Coordinator communications points e.g. inbox, phone line and ticketing system and assisting in the required requests.
  • Keeping employee files and HR systems up to date including personal data.
  • Monitoring the leavers process taking action where necessary, including responding to resignation notifications.
  • Processing DBS and credit checks.
  • Collating Change to Terms data and processing accordingly via the relevant process.
  • Project led work to improve employee records and HR coordinator processes.
  • Working alongside the HR advisors to gain exposure and knowledge of all aspects of HR.
  • Supporting the HR advisory team on processes such as absence management, disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Collating and interpreting relevant company data as requested.
  • Working on individual projects and collating data specific to a brand.

Candidate Requirements

  • We are looking for a candidate that is ready to take ownership of the role, you will be given the autonomy and flexibility to do so.
  • Some experience of HR Advisory processes, such as sickness absence, disciplinary and grievances.
  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced, demanding environment.
  • IT literate Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP (Success Factors) is desirable.
