We are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our HR Operations team at Asda Express

In this role, you will play a key role in providing efficient support to our business operations, ensuring our colleagues and store managers receive high quality assistance while maintaining accurate records and systems.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Monitor HR Coordinator communication channels (e.g., inbox, phone line, ticketing system) and appropriately distribute enquiries
- Uphold company policies to safeguard GDPR compliance
- Manage employment and reference letters
- Maintain up-to-date employee files and HR systems, including personal data
- Serve as the primary point of contact for colleagues and store managers, providing guidance on system processes
- Oversee the leavers process and respond to resignation notifications as needed
- Handle DBS and credit check processes
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing employee records and HR coordinator workflows
- Assist the HR advisory team with tasks such as AWOL management, immigration checks, and absences
- Collaborate with HR advisors to broaden knowledge and expertise across HR functions
- Compile requested company reports and process Change to Terms data accordingly
- Update policies and procedures as required
- Undertake individual projects and gather brand-specific data

- Pro-active organiser, preferably with previous HR Administration experience
- Knowledge of SAP (Success Factors) is desirable
- Ability to deal with a variety of work in an organised and efficient manner
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines when under pressure

**About ASDA Express**
- As the convenience arm of Asda, Asda Express is supporting Asda’s ambition to become the UK’s second largest grocery retailer by moving into the fast-growing £40bn convenience market. Asda Express will also help to bring Asda’s value pricing closer to millions of customers. _
- Following the acquisition of convenience sites from the Co-op Group and EG Group during the last two years, there are circa 470 stores which are in the process of being converted to Asda Express. Each store stocks up to 3,000 branded and own-label products to suit a broad range of customer needs including ‘top up’ shops for essential items such as milk and bread, grabbing lunch on the go or cooking dinner from scratch. _
- The acquisition of the former EG Group UK convenience sites will also help accelerate Asda’s move into the £62bn foodservice market, adding more than 450 Greggs, Subway and Burger King outlets as franchise agreements as well as wholly owning healthy fast-food chain, LEON. _

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £24,700.00 per year
