We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Blackburn & Shadsworth site HR team as our new Site HR Administrator/Coordinator.

**Who are we looking for?**

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to begin or progress their career within HR. You will have the opportunity to get involved in lots of fun activities as part of the engagement plan whilst supporting the Site HR Manager with all administrative tasks, including absence reporting, ER caseload coordination and maintaining employee records held within our HR system.

You will be supported and mentored by an experienced Site HR Manager who is looking for an individual who is passionate about developing their career within HR. You may already be working within an HR Administrator/Coordinator position, or this might be your first role in an HR team out of college or university. Ideally, you’ll have previous administrative experience and strong IT capability.

As part of your development, we would be keen to put you through your CIPD Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications and throughout your time with BBF you’ll receive lots of ongoing learning and development, including HR-specific training through our legal partners.

**The role of an HR Administrator/Coordinator at BBF**
- Supporting in the delivery of the Site HR Plan, including but not limited to engagement improvement, communication, and inductions.
- ER caseload co-ordination, with support from the Site HR Manager, the HR Co-ordinator will accompany line managers in acting as Company witness and note taker in meetings, providing first-level advice on processes and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Reporting weekly absence statistics and ensuring a return-to-work interview/capability trigger compliance.
- Maintaining employee records held in the HR office and undertaking file audits/ updates as and when required.
- Proactively identify, develop, and implement improvements to systems and procedures.
- Ensuring all employment change information is accurately and correctly reported with payroll.
- Support the Site HR Manager in undertaking labour provider audits.
- Supporting training and development initiatives as and when required.
- Coordinate and pull together the site’s communications.
- Helping to organise and run site employee well-being, charity and training events.
- Keeping the employee trackers up to date for the site.
- Undertaking ad hoc projects as part of the team.
- Ensuring full compliance with the employment legislation and BBF Policies.
- Supporting recruitment, induction and ‘onboarding’ as required.
- Driving own personal development, seeking out updates in employment law and best practices.
- Raising any training and/ or support requirements with the Site HR Manager.
- Supporting HR projects under the guidance of the Site HR Manager, as required by the Site HR Manager.
