Incident Management Specialist

Our client are seeking an experienced Incident Manager to join their team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient response and resolution of incidents within the IT infrastructure, minimizing downtime, and enhancing service reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Incident Management Contractor, you will be responsible for monitoring systems to identify incidents, coordinating resolution efforts across technical teams, and escalating issues when necessary. You will act as the primary communicator during incidents, providing timely updates to stakeholders and conducting post-incident reviews.
Additionally, you will maintain detailed documentation, and generate reports for continuous improvement. Your role will also involve contributing to refining incident management procedures and implementing preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in incident management or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and incident management best practices.
- Stakeholder management Experience
- Experience using JIRA
- Experience in documentation, processes, service reporting and dashboards.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL certification or equivalent.
- Experience working in environments with critical, high-availability systems.
- Knowledge of related service management processes such as problem management and change management.
