We are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager, on behalf of our client; a Basement, Groundworks, RC Frame and Steelfixing Contractor based in London.

As a Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all employees, subcontractors, and visitors on our construction sites. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update health and safety policies and procedures.

* Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential risks and implement appropriate control measures.

* Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, industry standards, and company policies.

* Training: Organize and conduct health and safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.

* Inspections and Audits: Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

* Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on health and safety performance, including statistics and trend analysis.

* Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and other stakeholders regarding health and safety matters.

* Promote a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices.

NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry, preferably with experience in basement, groundworks, RC frame, and steelfixing projects.

* Proven track record in managing health and safety on large construction sites.

* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.

* Proficient in MS Office and health and safety management software.
