- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Order.
- Conduct thorough fire risk analyses and provide expert guidance on control measures.
- Support internal design teams on multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring fire safety is integrated into the design process.
- Address complex fire safety challenges and issues across a range of buildings and sectors.
- Maintain effective communication with clients' teams to coordinate inspection programs and remedial works.
- Compile detailed reports, schedules of works, and specifications, and monitor on-site progress to ensure compliance.
- Apply a systematic approach to problem-solving, adhering to budgets and deadlines.
- Provide expert advice on Building Regulations Approval for fire-related matters.
- Fire safety or fire risk engineering degree is essential.
- Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers and professional registration with the Engineering Council are required.
- Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation, technical standards, and best practices is necessary.
