Fire Safety Specialist

The Health and Safety Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Fire Engineer or Senior Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our fire safety team, you will work on a range of buildings and sectors, addressing various fire safety challenges and issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients in meeting requirements under relevant legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022, Building Regulations 2010, and the Fire Safety Order.
- Conduct fire risk analysis and provide guidance on appropriate control measures.
- Support internal design teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to coordinate inspection programs and remedial works.
- Gather on-site particulars, document schedules of works, prepare specifications, obtain estimates, and monitor on-site progress.
- Offer advice on Building Regulations Approval for fire-related matters.
- A fire safety or fire risk engineering degree is essential.
- Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers and professional registration with the Engineering Council are required.
- Full understanding of current fire safety legislation, technical standards, and current fire safety issues, trends, and best practices.
