The Opportunity

We are looking for an Assistant Spa Manager to join the team at the Spa at the Slieve Donard Hotel. Reporting into the Spa Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the Management of the day-to-day delivery of the overall operation of the Spa and treatment facilities.

The successful candidate will;

Supporting the Spa Manager in delivering successful operations, achieving the Spa objectives, and improving profitability.
Oversee delivery of efficient, consistent, and professional guest experiences across the Spa operation in its entirety.
Address and resolve escalated guest enquiries and concerns.
Contribute to initiatives to develop business, improve team skills and guest satisfaction.
Manage rotas and payroll.
Monitor the Spa team’s performance and consistent delivery of exceptional guest experience.
Conducting spa tours for VIPs, journalists and prospective members acting as an ambassador for the spa.
Ensuring all standard operating procedures as detailed are always implemented, reviewed and updated.
Oversee the bookings procedure and maximising treatment opportunities.
Seek direct feedback from guests and members and use constructively to improve service initiatives, providing the best possible guest service and support.
Be responsible for team member Employee Relations issues, including absence management, conduct and training.
Managing the membership database system, tracking monthly Direct Debits and monitoring annual renewals.
Monitor and account for the handling and security of Retail and Professional stock distributed or received.
Contribution to the development of the Spa business plan, projects and initiatives to continually develop the Spa business and market position.
Responsible for ensuring the Spa pool checks, testing and plant room operation are maintained.

What we are looking for

Minimum of 6 months experience at senior supervisory level or ideally management level.
Proven success in leading teams to achieve high standards consistently.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and IT skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.
