Head of People and Culture

Do you have experience managing senior stakeholders and accelerating significant growth plans?
MacGregor Black are partnering with a Drinks Manufacturing business, on the search for a Head of People and Culture. This is a permanent role based in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the business objectives and drives organisational performance.
- Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to the overall business strategy and decision-making process.
- Champion a culture that reflects the company’s values, promotes diversity and inclusion, and fosters a high-performance environment.
- Oversee the entire talent management lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and succession planning.
- Implement initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organisation.
- Drive leadership development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and morale.
- Lead cultural change initiatives to ensure the organisation’s values and behaviours are embedded throughout the company.
- Conduct regular employee surveys and feedback mechanisms to assess and improve the workplace environment.
- Identify and address organisational development needs, providing solutions that support the business’s growth and evolution.
- Implement effective change management practices to ensure smooth transitions and minimise disruption.
- Facilitate team-building activities and events to promote collaboration and a strong sense of community.
- Oversee HR operations, including HR administration, payroll, benefits, and compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that support a fair and equitable work environment.
- Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective HR practices.
- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure the organisation’s offerings remain competitive in the market.
- Oversee the performance management and reward processes to drive a culture of high performance.
- Lead DE&I initiatives to ensure an inclusive and diverse workplace.
- Develop and implement programs that promote equity and address barriers to inclusion.
- Monitor and report on DE&I metrics to track progress and inform future initiatives.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources,
- CIPD qualification or equivalent preferred.
- Proven HR experience (5+ years) in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG sector.
- Demonstrated experience with HR metrics and HRIS systems.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the FMCG industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
