We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate, reporting to the HR Manager, will join our team at Middleton where we produce classic British Brands alongside authentic Japanese sushi seasonings and vinegar. 


With a passion for continuous improvement and making efficiencies, the HR Advisor will have a strong focus on aligning approach and processes with Mizkan’s Bury St Edmonds and Chiswick sites. You must be a team player, who really cares about enhancing the working lives of our employees.


This role is perfect for an experienced HR Administrator or Assistant looking for their first advisory role or a current HR Advisor looking for experience in a manufacturing environment.

 

Your responsibilities:


As a key member of the HR team, you will:

 

  • Build effective relationships with the site management team and people managers to provide support and guidance with people related issues.
  • Nurture relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR-related issues to support understanding, alignment, consistency and resolution.
  • Provide site-level decision-making on matters of application of Mizkan Euro HR policy, including absence and system queries.
  • Promote wellbeing at every opportunity.
  • Deliver a monthly HR KPI dashboard to identify areas of concern, driving appropriate action and solution plans.
  • Work with hiring managers to support with recruitment and selection for the site up to senior management level.
  •  Onboards and inducts new hires in line with role requirements.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with recognised Union Representatives and Officials to ensure key initiatives are delivered compliantly.
  • Be the first point of contact for all HR queries.

  • Previous experience of working in a HR team
  • CIPD Level 5 or working towards (desirable)

Salary: £30,000.00 per annum (DOE) + 5% discretionary performance related bonus
