Job Description:

As a Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Linux-based systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance. You will work closely with our IT team to support the infrastructure needs of the project and contribute to its success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux operating systems
  • the Command Line Interface (CLI) for efficient system management
  • and maintain shell scripts for automation and task management
  • networking components to ensure seamless communication and connectivity
  • file system and storage management to optimize data access and security
  • and manage virtualization technologies, including Hyper-V
  • and manage systems using Red Hat Satellite
  • IT processes and infrastructure management with Ansible
  • applications and manage Docker environments
  • with development teams using GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines


Experience/Skill Set Required:

  • with Red Hat Linux Operating System
  • understanding and use of the Command Line Interface (CLI)
  • in shell scripting for automation
  • networking knowledge and experience
  • in file system and storage management
  • with Hyper-V and virtualization technologies
  • with Red Hat Satellite for system deployment and management
  • in using Ansible for IT automation
  • with Docker for containerization
  • of GitLab for source control and CI/CD


Qualifications:

Relevant certifications in Linux system administration (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE)

Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a government or high-security environment

Active SC Clearance is mandatory for this role
