UKROEd Ltd is a private, not-for-profit company responsible for the delivery, management, and administration of the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) on behalf of the Police service. Overview of the role

The post holder will take responsibility for all aspects of the administrative function for UKROEd with a principle focus on BikeSafe, ensuring that they operate efficiently, effectively and adapt to changing circumstances.

You will be instrumental in the planning and co-ordination of a number of UKROEd programmes, including the BikeSafe Scheme. Acting as a first point of contact for stakeholders and end-users, you will provide informed guidance on the programmes and objectives with an ability to inform and support communications activity including website updates and the preparation of corporate documentation.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Undertaking a range of activities to support the management and co-ordination of a number of UKROEd Programmes, principally the BikeSafe Scheme
    • Act as a first point of contact for BikeSafe enquiries from internal and external stakeholders to provide accurate information in a professional manner
      • Establish, maintain and use clear and effective means of communication with stakeholders, i.e. email distribution lists, website updates and other internal communication processes.
        • Assist in the production of core programme information, materials, teaching aids and general handbooks
          • Process invoices/ purchases/ expenses.
            • Process all course requests with an awareness of current GDPR legislation
              • Take responsibility for the creation and maintenance of accurate records, in both paper and electronic formats
                • Have a deep knowledge of the programme and its objectives to ensure enquiries are responded to appropriately
                  • Maintain and update internal and external communication platforms including the BikeSafe website
                    • Management of the booking platform
                      • Act as a point of contact for all police force enquiries
                        • Efficiently work with the Police coordinator to ensure smooth delivery of the Bikesafe scheme
                          • Attend national events and meetings as necessary to represent UKROEd.
                            • Engage in continuous personal and professional development in line with the demands of the role, including undertaking relevant training and development activities to develop themselves and support the development of others.
                              • Working with UKROEd Finance Controller to prepare and maintain crucial documentation, including project status reports, budget expenditure, and forecasting.
                                • Prepare and present accurate reporting material for the senior leadership team
                                  • The post holder will operate independently and produce innovative solutions to developing and progressing processes.
                                    • Provide data and produce statistics in the form of charts and prepare quarterly reports for governance meeting between UKROEd and NPCC lead
                                      • Supporting any other administration and/co-ordination duties as required

Experience

Essential

  • Strong administrative experience in a customer facing role
    • Experience of working within a co-ordination function with lead responsibility for ensuring smooth and efficient delivery
      • Experience of providing support to financial aspects of administrate delivery including the creation of PO's and invoices and the management of payments
        • Experience processing and presenting statistical information
          • Experience of producing clear, concise communications in the form of website updates/emails and corporate documentation including Board reports and updates
            • Experience of communicating with stakeholders using different communication channels
              • Experience of handling large amounts of information, reporting on data and producing statistics in the form of charts

Desirable

  • Experience working with the public and private learning and development sector.

Job Related Knowledge

Essential

  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages (intermediate level)
    • Experience of using spreadsheets and databases on a regular basis
      • Experience of using appropriate software to support the financial administrative function, including Approval Max
        • Experience of preparing reports for Board members and other key stakeholders
