Uptown Events are a corporate and special event planning agency based in North London.
Uptown Events specialise in designing, organising and executing private and corporate events, largely within London but some further afield.
You would be working within the fast paced and lively team of Corporate Event Producers, who are largely working on delivering virtual and hybrid events.

Job Description
Overall Role
You will be responsible for assisting in producing events and providing support to your manager and/or Event Directors to plan and deliver a variety of events.
The type of events include, but are not limited to; full hybrid and in person events and fully virtual setups in the UK and across Europe. Working with high profile clients, delivering AGM’s, Investor Advisory Boards, Team Building, Corporate Gifting, Awards Ceremonies to name a few.
Responsibilities
o Liaising with the AV Team and additional suppliers when required
o Attending site visits, if relevant
o Generating costings
o Venue and supplier research
o Supplier coordination and confirmation
o Organisation of meetings with venues and clients
o Use of the Uptown system and Xero to generate contracts and invoices
o Managing filming for events and technical agendas
o Project Delivery – on site or virtually
o Generating venue and event proposals
Desired skills and experience
· Confidence in the ability to learn online platforms for streaming events
· Strong computer literacy (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Ability to learn and process quickly
· Ability to keep calm in face of fast change or high demands
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Organisational skills
· Excellent literacy
· Ability to work within a team and enthusiastically assist team members
· An interest and desire to further career within the corporate events industry
