Awesome Events run three large Christmas party venues and one Summer party venue which include catering and bar operations, theming and entertainment. Each of these venues tend to run for a month straight on back-to-back events for the duration.

**Role Description**

The role offered is an in-office sale role along with an events management role at our seasonal venues. Whilst hours during seasonal runs may be long, this placement will provide hands-on, first-class experience in a medium sized London events company.

**Qualifications**
- Able to provide quality customer service and demonstrate organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends in our busy periods
- Able to work independently and as a part of a team
- **Must be a student currently enrolled in a full-time university degree**:

- Good IT skills
- Ability to be proactive and use initiative when dealing with uncertain situations
- A willingness to learn, to be competitive and to get involved with the team
- **Applicants must be based in, or be relocating to London**

**Roles Include**
- Active sales and new business generation
- Answering and making calls and handling client event enquiries
- Assisting senior members of the team on event enquiries, creating venue proposals for clients
- Researching, Contacting and Liaising with various suppliers and venues to create client quotations
- Dealing with all aspects of certain client bookings from initial enquiry to event execution
- Financial responsibility for your clients - generating invoices, taking and making payments
- **Working on live events** (please note these are often out of office hours including weekends)
- Involvement in venue management of our temporary seasonal venue’s structures - We operate a month long ‘run’ both during the summer and winter season. During this period, we operate back-to-back events
- this can include direct client contact and event management
- General office duties
