Contracts Manager


Location: Cambourne (hybrid)

Type: Full-time


Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's contracts efficiently and effectively, collaborating closely with the bid submissions team, sales, and technical specialists throughout the contract lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including client contracts, vendor agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
  • Manage the contracts database, ensuring all contracts are properly documented and stored.
  • Support the bid submissions team regarding contract terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in contract management processes.
  • Utilise digital platforms and tools to streamline contract management processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on contract management processes and tools.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on contract status, risks, and opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the technology or services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, terms and conditions, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with digital contract management platforms and tools.
  • Experience working with public tenders is an advantage.
