As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of compliant tenders and supplier questionnaires for our client's Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Tender Management: Direct line management of a Tender Specialist, overseeing the completion of tender and questionnaire documentation within strict deadlines.
  • Tender Monitoring: Monitoring public sources for new tenders, contracts, and framework agreements to identify opportunities for our client.
  • Quality Assurance: Reviewing and approving tender responses to ensure high-quality submissions that meet our client's requirements.
  • Documentation Management: Maintaining comprehensive tender records and documentation to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Team Guidance: Providing guidance and instruction to our client's employees on tender processes and procedures.
  • Customer Negotiation: Negotiating with customers and managing post-submission activities to ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in managing public tenders, ideally in the life sciences, materials research, or industry markets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, and knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
