Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Tenders and Contracts Manager at ManpowerGroup. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the successful completion of compliant tenders and supplier questionnaires for our Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Tender Management: Direct line management of a Tender Specialist, ensuring the team's productivity and efficiency in managing public tenders, contracts, and framework agreements.
  • Tender Monitoring: Continuously monitor public sources for new tenders, contracts, and framework agreements, staying up-to-date on industry developments and market trends.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Coordinate the completion of tender and questionnaire documentation within strict deadlines, ensuring high-quality submissions and maintaining comprehensive tender records and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and approve tender responses to ensure they meet our high standards, providing guidance and instruction to our employees on tender processes.
  • Customer Engagement: Negotiate with customers and manage post-submission activities, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in managing public tenders, ideally in the life sciences, materials research, or industry markets.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team, driving productivity and excellence.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, as well as knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
