Key Responsibilities

Quality and Environmental Management Frameworks:

  • Oversee and enhance the quality and environmental management frameworks (QMS and EMS) across various operational units.
  • Organize and execute annual internal assessments, management evaluations, and address identified issues.
  • Implement enhancements derived from assessments and management evaluations.
  • Coordinate and monitor improvements from corporate and external evaluations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 17025, SEMI, CSA).

Environmental Stewardship:

  • Design and execute internal environmental assessments and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to enhance energy efficiency.
  • Conduct statutory reporting on energy, water usage, plastic packaging, and waste management.
  • Provide updates on sustainability initiatives and advancements.

Lead Auditor Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and conduct internal assessments.
  • Facilitate and support external evaluations.
  • Ensure excellence in assessment reports and confirm findings with relevant parties.
  • Guide and support the development of auditing personnel.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist in ensuring product compliance with legal and certified standards (e.g., RoHS, SEMI, CSA).
  • Manage declarations of conformity (DoC) documents (e.g., CE, UKCA, KC, CSA, SEMI).
  • Oversee complaint management and Field Corrective Action (FCA/FSCA).
  • Enhance awareness of customer quality expectations and analyze corrective actions (CAPA) and complaints.
  • Provide integrated quality and environmental management system support to team members.
  • Assist with tender questionnaire information as necessary.
  • Regularly review and monitor Health & Safety policies.
  • Supervise permanent team members, establishing objectives and managing performance.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Quality certifications in QMS and EMS.
  • Lead Auditor training.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality-focused role.
  • Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
  • Experience with SAP Signavio / Opentext and process modeling (BPMN 2.0).
  • A background in engineering or quality assurance.
