If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client as a Tenders and Contracts Manager.


As a Tenders and Contracts Manager, you will take the lead in ensuring the successful completion of compliant tenders and supplier questionnaires for our client's Research Microscopy Solutions (RMS) division. Your role will be pivotal in driving productivity, identifying new technologies, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct line management of a Tender Specialist
  • Monitoring public sources for new tenders, contracts, and framework agreements
  • Coordinating the completion of tender and questionnaire documentation within strict deadlines
  • Reviewing and approving tender responses to ensure high-quality submissions
  • Maintaining comprehensive tender records and documentation
  • Providing guidance and instruction to our client’s employees on tender processes
  • Negotiating with customers and managing post-submission activities


Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in managing public tenders, ideally in the life sciences, materials research, or industry markets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations and compliance requirements
