Role Overview: We’re on the look out for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our thriving agency team. We are a fast-paced agency who are obsessed with ecommerce. This means creativity, revenue generation and the ability to work at pace while still maintaining the quality required for tier-one brands, looking to grow their loyalty and retention strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and brief in flow and campaign strategy, segmentation and content ideas and able to, coordinate, design and execute all email marketing activity from start to end
  • Write creative content for emails, with engaging and enticing copy, subject lines and call to actions
  • Lead on the email marketing strategy to improve loyalty and retention as well as driving revenue through email marketing
  • Manage the email marketing calendar in line with client objectives and overall marketing strategy
  • Improve the signup rates and list growth for all of our clients
  • Use data to inform decisions for optimising and improving email content and creative, with knowledge of best practices, benchmarks and KPIs
  • Reporting on email performance and how we deliver against specific KPIs for clients through monthly reports, recommendations, auditing accounts and strategy calls with clients.
  • Confidence to lead on regular client catch up calls with progress on workload and managing expectations, as well as offering strategy and consultancy advice
  • Work seamlessly with our email content specialist and strategist to produce best in class emails that look beautiful and perform flawlessly

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 year of experience working in an agency environment
  • At least 5 years experience planning, creating and managing email marketing activities
  • Must have experience using Klaviyo for Email and SMS Marketing
  • Experience with other ESP’s and CRM platforms such as MailChimp and Salesforce desirable
  • Ability to work across multiple clients with shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Self starter able to schedule and prioritse monthly client work and roadmaps
  • An in-depth understanding of email marketing automation, dynamic content and personalisation
  • Strong copywriting ability, with experience producing on-brand, engaging written content for email marketing
  • Demonstrated experience working with sophisticated customer segmentation and a range of email marketing platforms
  • Proven track record of successful email marketing campaigns driving brand and revenue growth
  • First-hand experience testing within email campaigns
  • Solid understanding of the email marketing landscape, platforms and technologies
  • Understanding of the user journey and on-boarding process
  • Data-driven with knowledge of Google Analytics and Shopify
  • Solid understanding of GDPR regulations and requirements
  • Solid understanding of sender reputation and how to build deliverability with Inbox Providers
  • Understanding of SMS and differences for UK and US markets and experience with platforms such as Klaviyo SMS and Yotpo SMS
