Company Overview
I'm working with a leading, innovative, UK-based Threat Detection and Response provider, offering protection to government bodies, mid-market, and enterprise clients worldwide. Last year they doubled their sales team and have bought on many new customers. They are now seeking a Channel lead – to play a pivotal role in the business, leading the Channel and Partner ecosystem go-to-market.
The role: responsibilities for the position include:
- Drive growth through the Channel, aligning with the business’s strategic direction to develop and implement a successful Channel strategy.
- Own the creation and management of the Channel plan, expanding both existing and new partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with Direct Sales, Business Development, Pre-Sales, and Marketing to ensure seamless execution of the Channel strategy.
- Establish clear business plans to enhance engagement with channel partners, setting clear expectations and standards for success aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Manage executive-level relationships with strategic partners and distributors.
- Oversee Channel engagements by structuring partner strategies, negotiating business terms, and developing value propositions to generate new and incremental revenue.
Requirements: For this role, you will need:
- 5 years in a channel sales role within the cybersecurity market
- Experience successfully building new channel partnerships
- Strong cybersecurity experience is essential, High-level knowledge of any EDR, MDR, SIEM, SOAR
- Self-starter who can work independently, while also thriving within a team environment
- Growth-minded individual with a history of high performance within a culture of excellence
