About Us
At Powercargo, we are dedicated to providing top-tier logistics services, specializing in sea, air, road, and rail freight management, warehousing, customs brokerage, and e-commerce logistics. Since our inception in 2018, we have grown rapidly and are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join our team. This role is fully remote, with all necessary equipment provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate with freight agents, hauliers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service delivery.
- Monitor and manage data input and logistics software (CargoWise).
- Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Handle escalations and resolve issues related to shipments, customs, and logistics processes.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Prepare and analyse operational reports, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive experience in logistics operations and freight forwarding.
- Proven track record in managing road, sea, and air freight operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using CargoWise and other logistics management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and handle high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
