Job Overview

As a Project Co-Ordinator, you will be supporting a Project Manager responsible for managing Ploom Tactical Retail field sales activities in Independent, Convenience and Grocery stores across the UK. This particular role is dedicated to our client JTI, working on the Ploom brand.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team who demonstrates excellent communication skills, is highly organised and has a passion for assisting field teams to deliver and exceed sales targets.

The role involves supporting the Project Manager, but you will also have your own tasks and responsibilities, which will include but not be limited to, staffing communications, stock and kit operations, store bookings, activity analysis and reporting.


Responsibilities & Duties

Project Delivery:

  1. Ability to prioritise project tasks and mange own to do list.
  2. Be an active member of the Ploom Project Management team – take part in weekly Client status calls, Team status calls and TRO Staffing calls. Interact with other members of the team, across the Ploom Programme.
  3. Review weekly field staff performance with your Project Manager. Prepare the weekly report, identify wins, opportunities, challenges, and assist with ideas to develop and enhance sales target delivery. Support the field sales team whilst working closely with the TRO staffing team.
  4. Support the Booking Co-Ordinator with store bookings, sharing results and insights.
  5. Kit management – our field sales team have resources to help them sell. You will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination of new kit deliveries and collections. You will also assist with the bi-weekly stock deliveries co-ordinating with our Stock Co-Ordinator.


Finance and Legal:

  1. Raise Purchase Orders and process invoices.
  2. Research costs to help build out new budgets.
  3. Reconcile budget elements throughout the project with support from Project Manager.


Key Experience & Skills

  1. Excellent communicator. A good telephone manner and not being afraid to pick up the phone is essential.
  2. Highly organised.
  3. Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  4. Personable and presentable.
  5. Relevant industry experience is desirable.
  6. Relevant qualifications preferable.
  7. Understanding of Microsoft Office.
  8. Keen to learn and assist on a variety of project elements.
