Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom techSPARK uk Full time

TechSPARK is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening the tech cluster in the South West. We connect tech businesses, talent, and investors through events, content, and community initiatives to support innovation and growth. Our network spans startups, scale-ups, corporates, and professionals across AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and more. Amongst other things we run programmes which support early-stage entrepreneurs, deliver the Bristol Tech Festival and Bath Digital Festival, host the largest tech awards outside London, publish intelligence reports and open our community to more diverse talent.

As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Partnerships Coordinator to support our growing partnerships team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in business development, sales, or account management while gaining exposure to a thriving tech community.

About the Role

As a Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a key role in identifying and engaging potential partners, supporting the team in sales meetings, and ensuring effective follow-ups. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and outreach to potential partners, setting up introductory meetings
  • Attend partnership meetings to take notes, learn, and contribute where relevant
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and follow-up decks
  • Manage and track outreach efforts using a CRM (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Support the Partnerships Lead in maintaining and growing relationships with existing partners
  • Liaise with internal teams (Marketing, Events, Content) to ensure partnership deliverables are met
  • Assist in identifying new opportunities to enhance partnerships and grow engagement

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication skills and confidence in reaching out to potential partners
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to track multiple conversations and follow-ups
  • A proactive mindset – comfortable taking initiative and solving problems
  • Some experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer service is a plus
  • Interest in the tech industry and the ability to learn quickly about different businesses
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot is helpful but not essential – we can train you
  • Basic design skills (Canva, PowerPoint) for preparing follow-up decks are a bonus

Why Join Us?

A chance to develop a career in partnerships, sales, or account management within the tech industry

Work with some of the most exciting startups and scale-ups in the UK
