Location: Solihull (Hybrid)
Type: Full-Time | Permanent
We are delighted to be working with a leading software provider to find a talented Management Accountant. This role blends traditional management accounting (60%) with strategic analysis and project work (40%), making it a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified/qualified accountant looking to elevate their career in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Management Accounting (60%)
- Prepare and analyse management accounts, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting, highlighting key trends and variances.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes to align with company goals.
- Aid in year-end accounts preparation and coordinate with auditors for statutory reporting.
- Deliver ongoing financial performance analysis with actionable recommendations.
Analysis & Project Work (40%)
- Conduct profitability analyses, cost management, and investment appraisals.
- Collaborate on financial projects to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Track and implement financial KPIs, enhancing systems and processes.
- Build financial models for strategic initiatives and new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present insightful reports to senior management for decision-making.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications: Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, financial modelling, and excellent attention to detail.
- Languages: Fluency in French (written and spoken)
- Experience: Management accounting experience with exposure to financial analysis and project work preferred.
- Tech Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills
- Personal Attributes: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
