The Role
 Commercial Finance have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Management Accountant to join their team to support our Energy, Education Supplies and HR businesses with their finances. This is a great opportunity for someone who has completed a Business or Mathematics A-Levels and wants to start their journey in the world of work whilst completing an Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship at the same time.

The successful candidate will support our fantastic Accountants working on excel spreadsheets, completing reconciliations, processing transactions and learning to use our finance system to run reports and more

This is an on-site position mainly based in Kings Hill with some days in our New Hythe Lane office, please consider your travel arrangements prior to your application. You will complete 4 days of work per week with one day dedicated to study.

Key duties

Assisting with reconciliations Maintaining monthly spreadsheet models Assisting in production of Management accounts, including reconciliations and variance analysis Maintaining Audit file evidence Assist Management Accountant with budget setting and re-forecasting Assist Management Accountant with ad hoc projects Continue to take on additional tasks and responsibilities in line with developing skills and experience

What we need from you

GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent) A great problem solver and a passion for Mathematics and interested in a career in Accountancy Great IT skills and familiar with Microsoft Office packages including basic Excel skills Flexible and understands business needs and priorities can change Great attitude, eager to learn and driven to succeed Ability to commute to the office every day
