We are recruiting for a Payroll and Expenses Administrator to join us here at Octavius.

We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

In this role, reporting to our Payroll and Expenses Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payrolls and expenses for Octavius, a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

This is a hybrid role based out of our head office in Reigate, Surrey. 

 

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)
  • Delivering a seamless monthly and weekly payroll for Octavius employees.
  • Handle all payroll entries from beginning to end, such as starters, leavers, changes in terms and conditions, and overtime.
  • Processing statutory payments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Submit the monthly Full Payment Submission (FPS)
  • Administering company benefit schemes such as childcare vouchers and cycle to work.
  • Upholding confidentiality standards and consistently adhering to GDPR processes.

  • Previous experience working in payroll and a desire to further your career in this field.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Qualified or studying towards a Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) qualification – advantageous but not essential.
