Expenses Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Expenses Administrator to join us here at Octavius.
We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
This is a 6 months contract, the role is hybrid and will be based 2 days a week in our Reigate office.
You'll be working on. (what your role and responsibility is)
- Administer the expenses process with the support of comprehensive training.
- Act as the go-to person for employees and the business regarding all expenses-related queries.
- Be a driving force in the transition to the Expensys system - set up employees, contracts, and contribute to its seamless implementation.
- Develop collaborative relationships within the team, function, and business.
- Liaise with external bodies, including auditors.
- Support with Expenses system upgrades.

- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable with constructively challenging claimants or their line managers when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to proactively manage workloads.
- Self-motivated and driven to meet tight deadlines.
You'll bring(your wealth of experience & qualifications)
- Previous experience working in the area of travel and expenses claims.
- Previous experience with the Expensys system is advantageous but not required.
- Strong Excel skills.
