Aboutthe role:
As the Infrastructure andSecurity Manager you will be responsible for the daytodaymanagement of our clients infrastructure and cloud security whilstalso providing internal support to UK based team.

This is a handson role and you will provideexpertise in network infrastructure security and change management.You will be responsible for maintaining a highly available andsecure IT infrastructure ensuring that the integrity of the ITarchitecture is maintained and improved to meet the growing needsof the organisation.

Internally this role willprovide support for all infrastructure related processes includingexchange security networking and hardware.

Whatyoull be doing:

  • Own thedefinition and maintenance of all Infrastructure technologies atWebtrends Optimize including networks & WiFi firewallstelephony servers storage equipment rooms cloudbased infrastructureservices and associated software managementservices
  • Management of Backups and DRsystems
  • Designing developing and writingdeliverable plans for the firms IT infrastructurestrategy
  • Maintaining ISO 27001compliance
  • Promote a teamworking environment bycommunicating with the team to maintain and improve qualitystandards and provide daytoday support
  • Firstpoint of contact for all IT security escalations andbreaches

What werelooking for:

  • Anunderstanding of security architecture with the ability to advisekey stakeholders on both future and end of life (EOL) dates forcritical network security devices
  • Detailedknowledge of a wide range of Microsoft products and technologiesincluding AD GPO CLI and DNS
  • Extensiveknowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure cloudcomputing
  • Detailed knowledge of different cybertechnologies across Infrastructure protection & ApplicationSecurity
  • Proficient with firewalls IDSEncryption Azure Vault and backups
  • Hands onpersonable and happy to assist our team with daytoday ITsupport
  • Success leveraging both traditionalpractices such as IT service management as well as emerging methodssuch as DevOps that are optimised foragility
  • Experience using Linux as well asWindows OS and an understanding of DNS management would bebeneficial
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 compliancepenetration testing and auditing with a willingness to get involvedand lead aspects of ISO compliance tasks
  • Ideally has a good understanding of technologies likeGitHub Rundeck and Ansible and experience with backup and dataretentionsolutions
