Role Overview:
As a Security Systems Technician, you will join a small, committed team tasked with the installation and maintenance of our advanced systems.
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
Reporting to the Head Office for daily briefings and commencing tasks as scheduled.
Executing installations in high-security settings, ensuring compliance with company and security standards.
Engaging with clients to provide outstanding customer service.
Updating the Project Manager on job status and submitting written reports.
Keeping tools, uniforms, personal protective equipment, and company vehicles in optimal condition.
Following all company and site Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols.
Promptly reporting any hazardous incidents or occurrences.
Participating in supplier and specialized training for professional growth.
Carrying out additional tasks as directed by management.
Work Schedule:
Standard hours: 07:30 to 16:30
Willingness to work night shifts as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Clean and verifiable employment history (for security clearance).
Valid Driving License.
Current CSCS Card.
Familiarity with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred).
Certifications in
IPAF, Pasma, and confined space (preferred).
Experience with intrusion detection systems, access control systems, CCTV technology, and data installations (preferred).
Personal Attributes:
Ability to work safely and adhere to both written and verbal instructions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Dependability and integrity.
Capability to plan ahead and inspire a small team to meet deadlines.
Self-driven with the initiative to communicate effectively with the Head Office.
Adaptability to the dynamic and fast-paced environment of construction sites.
