Amcare Group care centres are located in Cheltenham, Basingstoke, Dartford, Lincoln, Nottingham, Runcorn, South Shields and Stirling. Our distribution centres are at Sunderland and Basingstoke. These form the Amcare™ Group making us one of the largest dispensing appliance contractors in the UK.

This role requires you to work two days per month from the Runcorn site and two days per month from your local Amcare site, which could be Sterling, South Shields, Sunderland, Nottingham, Lincoln, Runcorn, Cheltenham, Dartford or Basingstoke.

We are looking for a strong Business Data Analyst able to translate data analysis into recommendations for the execution of our business strategy and business improvement. We need a curious person who will ask why, why and why again, until satisfied that what we do makes sense from a business, customer and financial perspective. The successful candidate will join a team whose mission statement is ‘To provide outstanding support to enable the business to achieve sustainable and profitable growth’

Duties and Responsibilities

Create, manage, and maintain reports required to support the business needs

Maintain working knowledge of the database structure, data elements and structured query language (SQL)

Using data to analyse business performance, recommend improvements to the business, striving to increase productivity

Build data models to illustrate trends and anticipate future performance

Support and collaborate with business units/functions to achieve business results

Build a solid understanding of all the systems used by the business

Support internal and external audit requirements

Support business resource planning

Ad hoc requests as assigned

Qualification and Education

Excellent numerical and analytical skills

Proficient in SQL Server Management Studio

Advanced excel knowledge ( pivot tables, graphs, external data usage)

Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent

Data visualisation

Able to problem solve individually and in groups

Working knowledge of GDPR and data privacy requirements

Curious and resourceful in learning and developing

Ability to provide clear and timely feedback to the business, based on performance analysis

Travel Requirements
