About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Data team at Laing O'Rourke. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting data requirements for our Clients & Markets team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain business intelligence systems, processes, and data to drive informed decision-making.
  • Manipulate and analyze data from internal and external sources to identify trends and insights that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure data is accurately tracked and reported.
  • Produce and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders, using a combination of tools including SQL, PowerBI, and PowerApps.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance and drive business growth.
  • Participate in strategic discussions and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to analyze and present data that drives business decisions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of PowerBI dashboards measuring sustainability performance.
Requirements
  • Strong data visualization skills and experience with data analysis tools.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills and experience with data manipulation.
  • Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or Finance/Accounting degree with a Master's preferred or equivalent experience.
