The Grocery Business at generates over £250m Turnover and is a key growth engine in Premier Foods. We’re looking for a commercially astute Finance Manager to support the business as we accelerate the branded performance over the next few years.

Main purpose of the role:

Operate as an effective Business Partner to three Customer Directors across Tesco, Convenience and Discounters, providing accurate and timely finance support to drive informed and quality business decision making. Work hand in hand with Commercial Planning & Execution Team to influence the trade investment strategy for the channel via constant monitoring, analysing and interpreting of internal and external data, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of Trade Investment spend is consistently improved. Understand the performance drivers and longer-term issues of customers and the implications of these for the wider business. Responsible for the period end analysis for Tesco, Convenience and Discounters, the short-term forecast cycles and evaluation of performance to drive insight for the sales teams & the senior leadership team. Lead on SOX compliance for the Sweet Treats Customer Finance Team & ensure we deliver against the goals set.

What we need from you:

ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience of working in commercial finance Strong business partnering experience Commercial acument and understanding of external challenges Ability to challenge and influence at all levels, using data to provide insights and recommendations
