Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Equity Associate Analystto join our dynamic team focusing on the Consumer Sector. As anEquity Associate Analyst you will play a critical role inconducting thorough research analysis and evaluation of companieswithin the consumer industry. Your insights will directlycontribute to investment decisions and recommendations made by ourfirm.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct indepth financial analysis of companies withinthe consumer sector including revenue trends profitability metricsand balance sheet assessment.
  2. Evaluate marketdynamics industry trends and competitive landscapes to identifyinvestment opportunities and risks.
  3. Performcomprehensive due diligence on potential investments includingcompany visits management interviews and industryconferences.
  4. Create detailed financial modelsand valuation frameworks to support investment theses andrecommendations.
  5. Collaborate with senioranalysts and portfolio managers to develop investment strategiesand asset allocation decisions.
  6. Preparewritten reports presentations and investment memoranda tocommunicate research findings and recommendations to internalstakeholders and clients.
  7. Monitor portfolioholdings and industry developments providing timely updates andinsights to support portfolio management decisions.
  8. Stay abreast of regulatory changes macroeconomic trendsand geopolitical events that may impact the consumer sector andinvestment markets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting orrelated field; CFA or progress towards CFA designationpreferred.
  • 13 years of experience in equityresearch investment banking or related fields with a focus on theconsumer sector preferred.
  • Strong quantitativeand analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling andvaluation techniques.
  • Excellent written andverbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complexideas and findings clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently andas part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Detailoriented with a strong commitment to accuracy andquality.
  • Proficiency in financial databasesand research tools such as Bloomberg FactSet or CapitalIQ.
